I've been working on the riverlands civil war. This is it so far

Shortly before the proclamation was made, Tommis the Tolerant’s religiously fundimentalist bastard Humfrey Rivers was legitimised against his own wishes. Before the king made his proclamation, he knew that it would be hugely controversial, and expected Lord Tommis of House Tully to oppose it, and possibly call his banners. In addition, despite only being in his 40’s, Lord Tommis was known to be rather ill. His eldest son Tristifer Tully had wed Teilyr Blackwood, and had converted to the old gods, and taken up residence in the castle of his in laws due to the lack of a Weirwood in Riverrun. The king was worried that should Tommis die of his failing health, then Tristifer Tully would be able to unite the banners of the riverlands against him, and against the already predicted opposition from the north, he would need a backup to cut them off.

Humfrey’s mother was a whore. She was also a religious fundimentalist. When she became pregnant, it was her last week as a prostitute. She radicalised during her pregnancy, and named her son, whom she new to be lord Tommis’s bastard “Humfrey” after the king of the riverlands that utterly repressed the old gods. Throughout Humfrey’s infancy, he was indoctrinated into this far right mindset, and was 23, about to join the faith militant when he was legitemised, and decided to just commit terrorism while he waited for his father Tommis to die of natural causes.
When Lord Tommis’s death came, Humfrey became Lord of Riverrun. Lord Tommis died a few days before King’s Landing fell, meanwhile in Raventree Hall, Lord Tristifer Blackwood-Tully got the news. Had Humfrey Rivers not attcked Raventree Hall, they would likely have remained loyal. There was less reason for the Faith to attack Raventree, since House Blackwood had allowed them in, and acted as a moderating influence on the Militant, at least when house Bracken wasn’t in charge of it. Although Lord Blackwood-Tully was not happy about being usurped, he would likely have remained loyal if only Lord Rivers had not married a Bracken and gone to destroey his wife’s house.
Tristifer Blackwood-Tully had wed his wife in the Godswood of Riverrun in fron of the Weirwood. His wife Teilyr Blackwood, like all blackwoods worshiped the old gods. Tristifer had converted to the religion of his wife, and when Humfrey Tully appeared at Riverrun, Lord Tommis had sent him to his wife’s castle to protect him. There, Tristifer, when Tommis died, had been advised to change his coat of arms. Tristifer had instead decided to just change his banner to be a white silhouette of a Weirwood in the canton of the Tully banner.

Humfrey was named for King Humfrey I of House Teague, the fundimentalist ruler whomst lost the Riverlands to the Stormlands. His far right mother had, at least after he was born, always said that it would have been better if the überconservative king had managed to destroy the Blackwood infidels, and burn or chop the heads off of all of the infidels. Humfrey Tully had been raised to hate heretics, and saw his trueborn brother as the greatest heretic in all the Riverlands. He had spoken openly against Tristifer Tully, and this prompted Tommis to meet secretly with Tristifer
